One Special Game fan art winners revealed!

The results are in! It’s an absolute honour to announce the winners of this years’ One Special Game Fan Art Competition and wow, was it hard choosing a winner.
Entries flew in from across the world, and the standard was exceptional. One Special Game is always one of the highlights of the whole #OneSpecialDay event but this year it’s been pushed to another level. And now’s YOUR opportunity to buy a top quality print of any of the stunning winning entries below with all the funds except P&P going towards our work.
We can’t thank Stephen Hey, Hollie Pattison and the team at Bastion enough for all their hard work in making the event so successful and spreading awareness of the charity so innovatively. Huge thanks as well to all the judges who generously gave their talents and time, to EA, Mediatonic and Revolution for allowing us to feature their titles, and to our other generous One Special Game partners and sponsors – Sumo, Ripstone, Amiqus, Insert Coin, Perp Games, Attention2Detail and takeoff Studios. Last but not least, thank you to EVERYONE who entered.
The entrants ranged from professional games industry artists to complete amateurs who loved the games. We had a painting as well as a lino print submitted too – both firsts for One Special Game.
Grand Prize (and Fall Guys winner)
Olly Klinkenberg @Okkle
Olly’s image inspired by Fall Guys was universally loved and was awarded the star prize by 4 of 13 judges as well as 7 Fall Guy choices. Olly is a UI artist at Rebellion and wins the main prize – a Nintendo OLED Switch plus Perp games, £100 voucher for Insert Coin (clothes), Adobe goodies, and a very cool portable hard drive.
Olly said “I chose Fall Guys because I play most lunch times and even after hundreds of games and only winning the crown once, it’s still super fun!”
The Sims Winner
Tazreen Tasnim @tazreentasnim
Tazreen said “I have chosen to create a poster for the Sims because the game has been very special to me since childhood. I am able to play, control, express, and exercise my creativity without any fear, which is why the Sims have been such an integral part of my life!”
Broken Sword Winner
Glen Fox @glenatron87
Glen is an environment artist at Rare. He said “It’s one of very few titles I regularly go back and complete, as an almost yearly tradition, and it still has the same impact on me now that it did the very first time.”
Runner Up
Andrea Motta @osalvej
This was perhaps the hardest to judge as there were so many special mentions. However, statistically it was Andrea Motta who pipped everyone to the post with the most selections plus special mentions. Andrea is a recent Graphic Design graduate and has no connection with the industry.
She said “I created a poster based on Broken Sword, which is a game I love, like all the point and-clicks, uses storytelling, the key element of my creative practice, as the main element of interaction with the player, testing intellect and intuition. Besides, the characters and the setting are just amazing.”
