There were huge smiles all round recently as we welcomed our good friend Tiago to our Accessible Games Room.

We’ve supported his amazing gaming journey since he was five, and you might recognise him as the ‘face’ of SpecialEffect that’s featured on many of our major expo stands.

Over the years our specialist assessment team have continued to work with Tiago, reassessing, recommending and adding tech to his accessible controller setup so that he can game to the best of his abilities. As a result, he can now control two joysticks and a range of buttons, and during his visit it was fantastic to see how he plays games like Goat Simulator, Portal, Steep and Descenders.

We’re in the process of equipping our new Games Room and we’re indebted to Tiago for kindly helping us with a dry-run test visit. In the future the facility will increase our service delivery options, and we’re sure that his amazing smile will just be the first of many to light up the room!
