Last year was a whirlwind of incredible stories, wonderful fundraising events, sporty successes and disabled gamers getting back into their favourite games thanks to your support. We wanted to take a moment to reflect on December 2023 and just a few of the festive fundraisers that took place, with our most heartfelt thank yous to everyone who took the time to support us!

Adam Freeman (PartWelsh) and his brother Lee, both long-time SpecialEffect supporters, took to fundraising via Twitch every single day in December including Christmas Day. They’ve raised over £130,000 for SpecialEffect over the last few years with the generosity of their amazing community!

The wonderful TFConnect crew ran their annual event full of chaotic fun, guests and TF2 hijinks and managed to raise over $34000 for SpecialEffect’s work!

The amazing QuickyBaby and Peppy were back with their annual fundraising livestream, supporting SpecialEffect and Cancer Research, and this year featuring their adorable pup Thor. The community raised over £16,000 – simply unbelievable!

Last but absolutely not least is Steve Tagger, who is taking on a monumental challenge to run at least 5K every day throughout December and January! Follow along with his journey and support him here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/stephen-tagger-running-challenge-2023
