Celebrating Oxfordshire!

Today we’re celebrating Oxfordshire Day! SpecialEffect started up over 15 years ago in West Oxfordshire, and it’s offices are still there, based near the beautiful Cotswold town of Charlbury.
During our recent Halloween party, we asked the SpecialEffect team – who hail from all over Oxfordshire and beyond – to share with us the best parts of where they live. We saw pet photos, heard of famous names (both living and not!) who call Oxfordshire their home, learned about some of the best places to eat and the most beautiful walks and views to explore. Here’s the highlights of each area according to what we learned:
- Witney – A jewel in Oxfordshire with everything you could possibly want at your fingertips!
- West Oxfordshire – Everyone has wonderful pets! “These aren’t just any animals; these are West Oxfordshire animals!”
- North Oxfordshire – Home to a remarkable number of theatre kids, performers, and poets.
- South Oxfordshire – Perfect Halloween vibes with tons of natural history, taxidermy, and heritage!
We love being part of Oxfordshire and cannot say thank you enough to the local community who help us continue to level the playing field for disabled people!
